Back from Vacation

We're back from vacation. In the next few days, I hope to catch everyone up on:

  • The rest of our vacation
  • My thoughts on Duke basketball
  • Other odds and ends
Separately, preliminary information I've received shows that Spero died of a heart attack. I hope that if my comments about Spero made you think of friends you value, that you might take a moment to visit the American Heart Association's website. There's some great information that may help you save a friend's life.

And, while I'm not specifically asking anyone to make a donation, I will tell you that I am. I'll also agree to match any reasonable donation someone makes to the AHA (or charity of their choice), with a donation in their name to the AHA.

Catching Up

It's been a busy travel week, with the trip to Idaho, followed by stops in Orlando and New York. I missed one picture from my trip to Idaho. Here's a sunset picture of the Grand Tetons:

The Giants won a hard-fought game in Philly over the weekend, boosting us to 8-1, which is basically a 2-game lead in the division. We get Baltimore at home. Should be a tough game, but winnable.

Interesting blog facts:

The AeroTrain post was by far the most popular so far, with over 200 hits. My blog has been visited by 38 of the 50 states, which is odd due to the states that haven't visited:

North Carolina, Alaska, Arkansas, Maine, Vermont, New Mexico, Alaska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Montana, Nebraska.

Now, there are some low population states there, but North Carolina does surprise me. Heck, if we can get Idaho and Hawaii, what's up with all those Blue Devils? Guess I'll have to start posting about Duke Basketball.

Just a brief sampling of interesting countries to visit: UK, Ireland, France, Spain, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, India, Indonesia, Russia, Taiwan, Lithuania

That's it for now. More later.
