We went on the road to the stadium where we won the Super Bowl last year. Kurt Warner has been playing like the Kurt of old, so this stood to be a good challenge. The first 3 quarters were a back and forth battle, with New York staying just ahead. Dominik Hixon had 200 kick/punt return yards in the first half, which made things a lot easier.
At the beginning of the 4th quarter, the Giants scored a TD to go ahead 31-19. From there, the clock was our friend, along with a timely turnover. That pushed us over the top, to 11-1. If my math is right, we can clinch a playoff berth with a win and a disgustingly large slew of losses by other teams. Regardless of whether that happens this week, a win against Washington goes a long way to locking up a bye in the first round of the playoffs.
